Residential Catering

The Classic Cafe offers three levels of catering service:

 

Full Service Catering:

Per person price includes china, glass or silver plates; silverware and linen napkins for your guests.  Linens, chafing dishes, serving utensils and decorations are provided for buffet tables.  Fees for servers are based on one server per 25 guests, at a rate of $25 per hour. $15 per hour for bartenders.  Charge time is based on party time plus 2 hours.  A suggested gratuity is included on the contract.  10 person minimum.

 

Set Up Service:

Per person price includes china, glass, or silver plates; silverware, and linen napkins for your guests.  Linens, chafing dishes, serving utensils and decorations are provided for buffet tables.  Staff will arrive 1 hour prior to party time to set up, and will return after the party to pick everything up.  There is a one-time set-up charge of $65 for lunch and $75 for dinner.  A suggested gratuity is included on the contract.  Not recommended for parties larger than 50 people.

 

“No Frills” Service:

Available for pick up or delivery.  Food will be securely packaged in disposable containers.  Disposable plates, flatware and napkins are included.  Disposable serving utensils are available upon request.  “Keeper Chafers” are available for $12.00 each.  A delivery charge of $25 or 10% (maximum of $75), and a suggested gratuity are included on the contract.

 

Mileage will be charged for parties located outside a 25 mile radius of The Classic Cafe.  A credit card is required to reserve your date.

Catering Contract 

  • Catering Prices do not include tax (8.25%), suggested gratuity (20%), or incidental rental fees.
  • The Classic Café at Roanoke is a private club.  Alcoholic Beverages must be purchased separately.  The Classic Cafe will be happy to serve all beverages with a bartender at $15.00 per hour.
  • A 30% security deposit is required upon finalization of catering plans.  The security deposit is fully refundable until 7 days prior to the event, at which time the deposit becomes non-refundable.
  • Guaranteed number of guests must be finalized 3 days in advance of the event.  Changes after that are subject to additional charges.
  • Balance is due on the date of the event.
